For those of you who are not on our email list, please read the attached announcement that went out yesterday. We will be closing our tasting room temporarily for the month of May, and the attached explains why. We are NOT CLOSING, to be clear. Winery and vineyard operations will continue. It will only be the tasting room that closes temporarily for one month. We'll plan on reopening the tasting room the beginning of June. See below for details. - Mike

So, this is my incredibly talented nephew, Evan and his band Croondog. They're based in Coronado , where they were born and raised and I absolutely love their sound and vibe. This song is very indicative of their style of music and it is, like much of their music, completely original. It's a brief 30 second clip , but it gives you a full appreciation of where they are and what they're trying to accomplish. Their sound is unique absolutely blow my mind. It gives me hope that in the hellish world we're living in that there's some hope for our future with this generation. Give it a listen and give them some love. This is what they're doing for living, and they need all the support they can get. In my humble opinion, if there's one thing that shows an individual is destined to be successful at their chosen craft or profession it's their willingness to get deep down into the trenches and get their hands (or feet) dirty. Winemaking isn't all about glamor and fame as many believe, it's more about hard work, grit, grime, pain and exhaustion, especially during the 3 arduous months of harvest. I took this picture of our assistant winemaker working on the crush pad this past Wednesday while she was pressing Cab Sauv barefoot and thought, "Yep, this girl's definitely got what it takes. She's gonna rock it." Keep your eye on this one, folks. Alyssa Knight is going to bring some incredible things to the SoCal winemaking table and it's going to be EPIC. I'm sooooo proud of her and can hardly wait to watch her perfect her craft and become a serious force to be reckoned with. This girl is ON FIRE!!🤯 - Mike 🍇🍷❤️
