About Beaver Meadowbrook Farm Sugar House

Don and Barbara Lassonde began making maple syrup in Concord, NH in 1972, and moved to the woods of Warner in 2005. Here, they follow organic farming practices throughout their property. They welcome visitors to their sugar house anytime by appointment, but March is when the sap is flowing and all the excitement takes place. The maple season lasts three to six weeks, depending on the weather. Because the sap doesn’t run every day, it’s best to call ahead to check on boiling times.

Maple Weekend in March is the best time to visit our sugar house, because we give tours of the maple orchard and the sugar house throughout each day. We’ll tell you how we tap the trees, collect the sap and we’ll give you a sneak peek at how we make the syrup! We’ll share some of the history of maple sugaring, explain the difference in the grades and why our maple syrup is considered a super food! On Maple Weekend, we offer free samples of our fresh maple syrup and especially prepared maple treats. If the sap is running, kids may help empty the buckets.

Come and see how we carry on this time-honored tradition. We’d like to meet you.
