Can you spot the queen? I moved this hive to a new box a couple days ago. I wasn’t seeing the activity I thought I should be seeing and so I decided to check. I’ve never found this queen so I took my time to be sure that they had a queen. I was losing hope thinking something happened to her during the move but then I spotted her!!

This mornings exercise before the work day, this old dead standing red oak had to come down. I’m going to use the top for firewood and the trunk we will see about making some oak beams.

Nature always seems to make me smile and remember that God provides. I didn’t plant these, I didn’t water them, I didn’t tend to them…. But here I am cutting firewood and enjoying a refreshing handful of berries.
