I know I’m jumping the gun a little on this one - but I am excited - this is going to be a fun night folks!

Next Friday - Sept 11th is the LAST concert of the summer series and they saved the best for last! The Spectrum starts playing at 6pm, if you don’t know these guys, they are local favorites and always put on a good show!

We were planning on being in the crowd, but we got asked to come on down and serve food for y’all - so that’s what we are going to do!! See you Friday, we will be ready to serve by 5pm - see you then!

Pine Haven Campground for dinner at 5pm and the Shawna Jackson Band starts at 6pm. This event is open to the public and is always a good time!

Old Home Day 2026 is a wrap, and all I can say is it was a FANTASTIC weekend!
Last year, you kicked our butts and this year we were ready for you! So the theme for this year was the Founding Fathers, I got stuck on Rosie the Riveter theme for us and I think we nailed it, I loved it! We knew we could do it ❤️

This weekend would not have been possible without help from quite a lot of folks and I of course want to thank everyone who pitched in when asked (or even wasn’t asked!) but special thanks to my core team this year, Jessica, Tracey, Uncle Rich, Brigitte, Andrea, Patrick and of course my pal Alyssa Burgess (this weekend couldn’t happen without her, shes a rockstar)!

But most of all we want to thank ALL the folks who came by to see us, especially those who set up “base camp” in our corner! SO many familiar faces and so many new faces too - you made this our best OHD yet! Thanks for all your food praises and love for our “Rosie” theme! This was a fun weekend!

Will we see you next year….only time will tell!
