🍅 First batch of homemade spaghetti sauce! ❤️

Made with tomatoes we grew right in our own garden! There’s something extra special about turning what you grow into something you can enjoy during the winter. 🌱🍝

One more little taste of summer tucked away for later! 🥰

Who else is putting up spaghetti sauce this year?

First frost of the season! 🥶🍂

Have you turned the heat on yet, or are you trying to hold out a little longer? If it’s not on yet, what date do you “try to get to” before turning it on?

🚨 Calling all the canners! 🍅

I’ve never canned spaghetti sauce before, but I have 150+ pounds of tomatoes staring at me, and they are quickly taking over my freezer space. 😂

With archery deer hunting season here, I already know the tomatoes are going to be the first thing sacrificed to make room for venison! 🦌🤣

So… what’s your go-to recipe for canning spaghetti sauce? And what do you use for a safe canning recipe/method? I’m looking for something tried-and-true because I have A LOT of tomatoes to put to good use!

Drop your favorite recipes, tips, and tricks below! 🍅👇

Kit Kat’s big day finally came! 🦋🤍

She hatched on Saturday, just before the multi-day wind and rain storm rolled in. With the weather looking pretty rough, we decided to keep her inside a little longer to make sure she stayed safe.

And today, we finally got to set her free! 🥹🦋

And yes… we officially found out Kit Kat is a GIRL! 🤍

It’s been so cool watching this little monarch go from a tiny caterpillar to a chrysalis, seeing her wings develop, and finally watching her take off into the world. What a little adventure! 🦋✨

Have you ever had homemade apple butter? 🍎🤎

We made a batch using a really old recipe, and it came out SO good! There’s just something special about making a recipe that’s been around for years. 🍂❤️

We’ll have jars available for sale soon! Keep an eye out. 👀

How cool is THIS?! 😍🦋

Kit-Kat’s chrysalis is getting closer and closer to the big transformation, and you can actually see the butterfly’s wings through the chrysalis now! 🤯

It’s wild to think that there’s a whole butterfly forming inside that little case. Nature never gets old! 🐛➡️🦋

We’re officially counting down to the moment this little one emerges! 💚
