Day 1 of the world famous Goshen fair is in the books! Boys and goats did really well! Tyler and Sampson showed in jackpot show, Connor and Ethan kept us all on our toes. Final placing to follow.

Herd reduction. We will be making some tough cuts over the next few weeks as show season draws to an end and we prepare for breeding season next year. Nubians: dry yearling and kid available. Alpine kid, toggenburg kid available. Please message us for pedigree and pricing.

This weekend we packed up and headed out early to the Dutchess county youth show. 4 out of 5 boys showed and all 5 did amazing.

Tyler showed in his first beef show with his steer Sampson,

Ethan and ticket won their showmanship class,

Owen won intermediate showmanship out of a huge divided class,

Mason placed 4th in a huge class of intermediate showmanship.

Owen and annisette won reserve junior best of breed alpine. In Toggenburgs, Cardie was best of breed, and senior champion, Nadia (Owen’s bred and owned kid) was junior champion. Nashville was reserve senior champion.

Mason placed first with Poppy, and first with Snow White in a large class of AOP and took best of breed.

It was a long and rewarding day. Thank you to the Dutchess county youth show committee for another wonderful show.

First show of the season is in the books! It was a long but successful day.
Owen took home senior grand champion with Nashville in ring 1 and Card counter in ring 2, reserve senior champion in ring 1 with Card counter in ring 1 and Nashville in ring 2, and best of breed in ring 1 Nashville and 2 Card counter. As well as junior grand champion with Tanner Brook farm Nadia, reserve grand champion with Dreamtime farm Take A Chance , and best of breed junior champion in both ring 1 and 2. He was second in junior showmanship.

Tyler won reserve senior champion with Head over Heels (Eddy) in ring 1. He was 3rd showman in a large class.

Mason won reserve junior champion with Rita in ring 1 and Reserve junior champion ring 2 with Tanner Brook Farm Rya in ring 2.

Connor and Ethan played hard and kept us on our toes. As always we love our show family and can’t thank them all enough for all their help today. It takes a village!
