Have you ever wanted to spend some time creating with dried flowers? Come celebrate the last regular day of the wonderful Schroon Lake Farmers Market and make your own dried flower mini wreath 🌸

Date: Saturday, 9/5
Location: Center aisle of the pavilion, Leland Ave.
Schroon Lake Farmers Market

🤍 Each participant will receive a four inch diameter willow wreath base to work with
🤍 An abundance of dried flower material, wire, and ribbon will be provided
🤍 Time: 9-1. This is a drop in class, first come first served while supplies last
🤍 Cost is $20 per person

Create, play, have fun and celebrate the end of summer and the ushering in of fall. Hope to see you there!

8/29/26: In case you missed it yesterday and would like a bouquet I harvested last night. There are dahlia bouquets on the stand today 💐 I don’t know why but this year the dahlias are really thriving, and some are reaching my height. It is really magical 💫

I am in Schroon Lake for the farmers market today but my husband will be here to restock the stand. Stop on by if you are in the area 💕

Which color palette are you choosing? Are you reaching for the pastels - pinks, mauves, and cool tones? Or do you prefer those bright, vivid summer bright - hot pinks, oranges, and golden yellows? It’s a fun exercise to look at these zinnias side by side and see which colors you are drawn to.

My husband and I definitely have different taste when it comes to color. He is color blind, so high contrasting colors really stand out to him. He loves bright blues, yellows, and purples. I definitely like more muddy colors in my home and life - what he jokes is a bland “earth tone”. Yup, that’s me!

It’s funny though as I get older I find myself drawn to brighter blues and reds and have started to slip them into my daily life.

8/22/26: Happy Saturday to all! Mixed bouquets are out on the stand this morning for all of those looking for a little color boost 💐

Just a note: The stand will be closing today at 3:00 so be sure to come down before then 🩷

The fields have had a hard harvest this week! Next flower restock will be Saturday morning 8/29 🌺

So are we in love? These dahlias will be in the mixed bouquets available tomorrow at the Warrensburg Tomato Festival, 3-6pm at the Rec Field Pavilion on Library Avenue 💐
