Rohan had a fantastic NAILE! The Border Leicesters had a huge turnout for both the Jr and open shows! Ro and his dad were able to be there for the Jr show and had fun catching up with friends from other shows and around the country. Then they turned the show stock over to his grandma and aunt to finish out the open show. Truly appreciate all the amazing kids that helped show in the Jr show and the Oberholtzer family and Billy Zack Taylor for helping to show in the open show. Don Drummond was great help behind the scenes shuttling sheep back and forth from the pens to the rings. Special thanks to Justice from Hickory Grove Farm for helping to unload our trailer!!!

Have been busy with fall lambing and forgot to post MD State Fair pics. The kids had a wonderful fair. Thanks as always to such amazing friends that help to get everything shown and just have a great time! Lynne Dorward, Bruce L Snyder, Barry L. Snyder, Annette Lovell, Amanda Ruppert, Ronald Miller, Doug Brewer and another special thanks to Renee Roth Powers for not only helping to show but bringing wonderful sandwiches to keep the crew going strong!

Congratulations to Lizzie Handlin on an excellent Md State Fair! Always good to see our stock out performing for their new owners. Champion natural colored ewe purchased last year as lamb. Champion natural colored ram out of an Overlook Manor Farm ewe.

"Limo" won Grand Champion Ewe at Maryland State Fair & Montgomery County Fair. "Limo" is being shown expertly by "The Snyder Men". Thanks guys!

Here is Cuddles, one of our new feline farm additions. We still can't handle him, but he certainly is getting along fine with his new sheep friends!

While we were away recently, a mother cat and four kittens appeared at our farm. With the help of the Culpeper Humane Society we were able to trap and transport the mother and two of the kittens to the shelter. We didn't catch the other two kittens immediately, but the Humane Society generously offered to spay and neuter them if we were willing to keep and care for them.

The two kittens moved right in, found the warmest spot in the barn, and are busy catching mice! Thanks again to the Humane Society but most importantly, unless you are a breeder please your pets.
