Today I'm bummed... We won't be making it to one of our favorite shows of the year cause our trailer repairs became a much bigger ordeal than we originally thought. BUT I did see some awesome news tonight. And with the excitement of this news I decided to was as good of time as ever to announce. We will be attempting AI this year on two of our favorite does. GCH Agape's Prize November Rain 1*M and GCH Hidden Treasure CoCo Chanel 6*M. Who will be the buck we are attempting this with??? Oh just the sire to this doe in this picture who just scored a coveted EEEE 93 😃 so excited to potentially get some Agape's Prize Sullyman cquinn babies out of hopefully both Honey and CoCo this coming year 🤞🤞

I swear the color theme happened on accident lol 😆 today we got the retained babies tattooed so the couple we are bringing were ready for their show debut this coming weekend. After returning from nationals, daily feeding and milking is all the goat time we have spent. Have to get back to the grind with getting goats clipped and the trailer ready for our first fall show this coming weekend. The trailer goes to get its wheel repairs from our disasters traveling home from nationals this Monday. Not cutting close or anything lol I guess we just didn't want to look at it for a while after all that ridiculousness 🙃

Meet Heart, officially known as Hidden Treasure Bless Ur Heart. Daughter of GCH Agape's Prize November Rain 1*M and sired by CH Moon Station Aberama Gold. She is the most annoying baby on the farm currently. She follows me around grabbing the bottom of my shorts while I feed the babies and fill water troughs. Luckily she's pretty fancy so we deal with her antics. Pictures better than this probably won't happen until she's a little older since currently she won't get out of my bubble when I'm around her 🙃

We have had several inquiries about semen sales from Hell Fire. We have some straws available through XCell Genetics and Blue Mountain Genetics. Please contact them if interested in getting some straws.

Hell Fire's dam continues to collect accolades including placing 5th place at nationals this year. His sire is the sire of our 6th place/3rd udder 4 year old at nationals this year. Last year Hell Fire took a trip to stay with our friends at Coat Creek Farms, they have had some beautiful kids from him this year. We look forward to breeding him to several of our does this year.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about breeding plans for the next few years. That has come with looking at our buck pasture and realizing that we are seriously under using several really nice bucks here. A few years ago I accumulated a pretty stacked buck crew and unfortunately we have just not had the number of does kidding each year to prove out all of them. So to try and thin the buck herd and focus on some of our young bucks, we will be offering some mature bucks at significantly discounted rates to try and get them into homes that will utilize them and continue to prove them out.

So to start we will be offering IlenesRascals SD Aspen. We have several yearling daughters currently but none that have freshened yet. Aspen is the son of Agape's Prize Saint Dismus who needs no introduction. His dam comes from a very successful Urban Acres dam line. With the kid crop we got last year I saw consistency in Aspen throwing tremendous width between the hocks, desirable curving of the thigh when viewed from the rear, long bodied, depth of heart. I don't have freshened daughters to show off yet and his price reflects that. He needs to be used in someone's herd and not sitting here waiting for his turn to circle back around in a couple years. Disclaimer, Aspen is overheight so if that is a concern for you, he is not the buck for you.

Definitely the most attention grabbing udder in the herd 😆 I so hope this girl FINALLY gives us some does this year. I'm super excited about the cross we will be doing with her this breeding season.

Another doe who continues to make us proud 😊 this doe is not only making her mark on her own but also through her offspring. She is a great example of a strong dam line.
