Did you know some of our flower varieties begin growing before spring even begins!? Statice and craspedia are among our first seeds planted! More will be planted this coming week! We plant each variety, either indoors or outdoors, depending on their maturation date. Then, they are all ready to bloom at once when the heat and bright sunshine of summer begins!

Happy March, everyone! Can you believe we are exactly halfway to season #4?!

There are less than three weeks until spring! Even though spring season in Indiana means mud season, we get a sense of excitement here on the farm. We begin preparing the ground and the property for summer! Every season is a gift.

That’s a wrap on our photography season!

Over 100 professional photography sessions, many of which included mini sessions, conclude the 2024 books! It was a joy to be a part of the beautiful work of dozens of local photographers and the captured memories of many more families.

The photo below includes some favorite sunsets from this summer. The Master Artist knows how to put on a show, and we are here for it!!!

I had some fun with the last of our dried flowers today. All of these were grown right here on our farm!

The wreath was lovingly made for and inspired by my little girls and their love for all things beautiful. I’m hoping the dried arrangements provide some fun color and texture over the dreary months ahead until we have fresh blooms once again 🥰
