⚠️ Charlottesville City Market Cancelled – Saturday, July 18 ⚠️
Due to forecasted unhealthy air quality and a Heat Advisory, the Charlottesville City Market will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, July 18.
The safety of our vendors, customers, performers, and staff is our highest priority. The combination of extreme heat and poor air quality creates unsafe conditions for the many hours our market community spends outdoors.
We know this is disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding as we put the health and safety of our market community first.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Charlottesville City Market on Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
In the meantime, you can continue supporting your favorite local farmers, food producers, and artisans by joining us at Farmers in the Park on Wednesday, July 22, from 3:00–7:00 PM at Pen Park. It's a great opportunity to stock up on fresh local produce, baked goods, meats, flowers, and handcrafted products while supporting the small businesses that make our markets so special.
