🪽 Today, the world feels a little less bright.

Dolly Parton was so much more than the songs she sang. She showed women like me that you could dream boldly, work incredibly hard, lead with kindness, stay true to who you are—and create something meaningful along the way.

💖Somewhere along my own journey, I poured myself a cup of ambition and decided to believe that the little idea in my heart could become something real.

And now, I look around Rise & Set Provisions and see what “real” has become. 🥹

I see shelves filled with products chosen with purpose. I see a place where people gather, learn and feel welcome. I see a business rooted in caring for our neighbors, our families and our planet. I see a dream that became ours—not just mine—because this community believed in it too.

Dolly reminded us that ambition and compassion can live beautifully side by side. That success means even more when you use it to lift others. And that you never have to make yourself smaller to make a difference. Keep that sparkle & let it show proudly! ✨

Today, I’m holding this cup with an especially grateful heart for the dream, for the courage to chase it and for the woman who inspired generations of us to get up, show up and keep going.

Ask someone how they’re doing—and slow down long enough to really listen.

Send a funny meme or GIF to a friend you haven’t talked to in a while, just to let them know you’re thinking about them.

Showing love doesn’t have to be grand or expensive. Sometimes it’s found in the smallest, simplest gestures—as long as they’re genuine.

You never know when one small act of kindness might make someone’s whole day… and chances are, it’ll brighten yours, too. 💕
