Honey bees like sweet corn, apparently.

Two eggs from the same basket. The giant one had only a single yolk. The tiny one had almost no white.

Time to start my seedlings. Peppers take the longest, so that's what's up first. What I've learned through the years:
*Use seed starting potting soil, it makes a difference.
*Heating mats will give you faster and higher germination, I highly recommend these.
*You can cover your cells with plastic, but these domes are nice as you can vary the moisture. Amazon purchase.
*I always plant two seeds, but if you are new and not sure on your process, plant 3-4 per cell, and you can thin them later
Next post, I'll get the lights on them, and then in a couple of weeks I'll plant about 10 or so different tomatoes, flowers, herbs, and squash.

A little piece of the country in the mountains called Lone Heron Farm
