I made a Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake and decided to share with some folks at school today. I kept one slice for myself and gave the other seven to some lucky coworkers.

Apparently, word traveled fast, and a few people were NOT happy they missed out! (Rumor has it, one 'may' have been the Principal.) 🤭

But the best part? One of the recipients messaged me afterward to say it was “maybe the best tasting cheesecake I have ever eaten” and then followed up with “Not even exaggerating!” 😊

He also mentioned he'd just started Zepbound, so we had a good laugh about my impeccable timing with the cheesecake delivery!

Nothing makes me happier than seeing people enjoy something I made. ❤️🍪❤️🍪

And yes, for those who missed out... I promise you're on the list for next time!

After a shower and recuperating a bit from another hard days work, I went down to the barn to take some pictures of what was completed today. My nosy old men, Bloo and Revy came over to see what was up. Since I was without cookies, they were disappointed with my presence. You can hear Revy's sigh of discontent. 😆

This morning I fixed the guest house steps, did a repair on the pool and a little property maintenance and THAT'S IT for today! I was out in this Godforsaken heat all day yesterday, and I'm crying UNCLE!!!

It's got Southern hospitality and European traditions, with everything from familiar comfort-food favorites and house-smoked meats to German specialties, creative appetizers, fresh sides and scratch-made desserts.

Everything is prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen in Wartrace, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and food that's a little more special than your typical catered meal. Orders can be customized for groups large or small, and convenient delivery is available to the Celebration grounds.

I've was at the store and saw Little Debbie cosmic brownies that I thought looked cute. They reminded me I had a large jar of candy-coated mini chocolate chips in the commercial kitchen storage. Yep, it was about time to get to using them!

So here's the Heaven Hill Farm version. My brownie recipe has 2 1/2 pounds of of chocolate and a.pound of butter in it. Topped off with another half pound of the candy-coated chips.

Poor Little Debbie has been sent off to stand in the corner. 😆

It was a hard, but productive day. I feel really accomplished which is surprising for me.

I was rewarded with a delicious dinner and a beautiful evening at twilight tonight. It had thunderstormed earlier, and I was so glad because my garden and young grass at the barn needs it.

During the hot Summer days, this is always the time when Bloo and Revy come up from the hollow for their evening drink and hang by the orchard.

Today I made a cream cheese confetti pound cake with a marshmallowy seven minute frosting.
Was craving something super sweet.
