MPORTANT PEOPLE, it is time to wake up and call on our Senators. This bill is anything but “Save the Bacon” it enforces animal cruelty and hurts the local farms. I’m absolutely sickened that this passed the US House of Representatives on April 30th. I encourage all my friends out there to reach out on our Senators and stop this from becoming new law. Watch this very important interview with Tomi Lahren and get educated. As someone who owns and operates a small farm in middle TN. I am totally sickened at the idea of pigs living in crates. Watching my pigs and raising them humanly, brings joy to the animals and myself. It’s not always easy to work with them and sometimes we get hurt; but farmers have a true responsibility to raise our animals humanly, the way God wanted them to be. If you won’t reach out to your local Senator at least support your local farmer. What they raise is much healthier meat for you and the costs are more reasonable then you would expect.
Many of you have seen me post pictures of how happy my pigs are and watch the babies run around and play (living the good life). Now think of those babies locked in a crate their entire life. The “Save our Bacon” is one of the most sickening laws and deceptive laws. I know I am ranting; but it’s very important “you the people” realize the deceptiveness that is all around us, thanks to our Government and our wonderful lobbyists. Enough is enough, now do something about it!

Carrots little girl arrived early this morning. Meet Parsnip, she is 75% Romagnola and 25% red angus. We are so excited she is here.

So excited and nervous to meet Carrots first baby. Carrot is pure Romangus and was Dosey (red Angus) and Ferdinand’s (Romagnola) baby. This baby will be our first “breed back” to Romagnola, meaning the baby will be a high % of Romagnola. Carrot is due 04/28 and as you can see she is starting to bag up. 1week to go. 😬
