A wedding day is made up of a thousand little details—but what matters most is how it all feels.

I had the joy of planning and coordinating this beautiful celebration weekend at Mountain Lake Park. From the welcome dinner, ceremony overlooking the lake and thoughtful floral details to the dinner and eventually a very full dance floor, every part of the day reflected S&Z.

They were such a thoughtful, organized, and wonderful couple to work with, and it was a delight to help bring their vision to life.

Congratulations, S&Z! It was truly a pleasure being part of your celebrations.

One of my favorite places to start when pairing wine and cheese is with a sense of place. 🍷🧀

Rioja and Manchego are a classic Spanish combination and a great reminder that pairing doesn’t always have to be complicated. When you’re unsure where to begin, look at the foods and wines that have evolved alongside one another.

What grows together, goes together. 🇪🇸

It’s not a hard-and-fast rule, but it’s one of my favorite starting points—and often leads to some pretty delicious discoveries.

This pairing was part of a past tasting event I curated for Warwick Historical Society.

Some bottles become more than just wine—they become part of your story. 🥂☀️

This bottle of Gloria Ferrer Winery Sonoma Brut joined us for an evening of paddleboarding to celebrate a friend’s birthday, but it also brought back memories of my first years in California. Gloria Ferrer was the very first winery I visited after moving there in 2014, and joining the wine club meant many afternoons on my apartment patio celebrating life’s big milestones—and the little ones, too.

A little wine fact: Founded by the Ferrer family of Spain, Gloria Ferrer helped establish Carneros as one of California’s premier regions for traditional method sparkling wine.

Some wines become favorites because they’re exceptional. Others become favorites because of the memories they hold. This one will always be a little bit of both. ✨🍾

Who says wine education has to happen in a tasting room? 🍷🏕️

This weekend AM Solutions brought a little Sauvignon Blanc education to the campground, comparing France vs. Chile during our Camp Crawl.

🇨🇱 Casablanca Valley, Chile — Root: 1 Sauvignon Blanc 2023
🇫🇷 Loire Valley, France — Domaine Jacky Preys et Fils Touraine Sauvignon Blanc Cuvée Silex 2023

Two wines, plenty of opinions, and a lot of “I didn’t expect them to taste so different!”

We’re back, baby. ☀️🍷🌴

Rosé season by the pool just hits differently. While Provence rosé drinks beautifully year-round, there’s something about sunshine, blue skies, and a chilled glass poolside that feels like its natural habitat.

A little wine tip: Provence rosé is typically pale in color, dry in style, and known for its bright acidity and notes of citrus, red berries, and herbs — making it one of the most versatile wines for warm-weather sipping and food pairing.

This bottle is from Sacha Lichine (of Whispering Angel), who helped elevate Provence rosé into the premium category it is today — showing that rosé can be elegant, refined, and worthy of the spotlight.

Summer officially starts now. ✨

April in Paris 🇫🇷🍷🧀
An evening of French wines and cheeses, beautiful boards, and learning how to pair with intention.

Here’s what we explored:
🧀 Bûcheron (Loire Valley)
🍷 Touraine Sauvignon Blanc — Loire
✨ High acid + citrus notes balanced the tangy, creamy goat cheese.

🧀 Brébirousse d’Argental
🍷 Côtes du Rhône Blanc — Rhône Valley
✨ A richer, aromatic white to match the cheese’s creamy texture and subtle funk.

🧀 18-Month Comté
🍷 Savagnin — Jura
✨ Nutty, savory, and structured — a classic regional pairing.
✨ Bonus: Tête de Moine — because texture changes everything.

From blank boards to beautifully styled creations, this wasn’t just a class — it was learning how to taste with intention. Pairing wine and cheese is as easy as remembering my favorite phrase - “What grows together, goes together.”

👉 Save this for your next wine & cheese night 🥂
