Hawk's Midnite Shadow was euthanized on August 6, 2021. He had strangulating lipoma. We buried him under the the southern oak tree on our farm. I can't tell you the loss we feel, he was such a magnificent presence in our lives. I am honored to have had him with us for the many years we did. Shadow was the greatest horse I have ever known.
As a tribute to Shadow, I am asking everyone who has a curly with Shadow in his or her pedigree to post a picture of their horse, along with the horses name and how the curly is related to Shadow on the Twisted Oaks Farm original post. I can think of no greater way to honor Shadow than to display his legacy to the curly breed. Thank you.

I have been trying to place my horses for a while into good forever homes. Now, my hay supplier just doubled my hay prices. I am disabled and can not afford this. Please contact me by private message or call me if you are interested in one of my curlies. I am no longer breeding, but have some beautiful curlies who would be a good addition to any breeding program, or for riding or as companion horses. They are not trained, but most are halter broke. I will check your references. I must place them this month.

We are in south-central MN. Prices are negotiable.
