7 days into calving season and 34 out of 80 heifers have calved. We are still 7 days from the due date. 12 of them have come in the last 24 hours.

Looks like we're going to sit around 60% on our timed AI conception. What's the best you've heard of? Comment below ⬇️

First calf of the 2026 calving season out of 0186H. Nice bull calf came unassisted out of a first calf heifer.

Bulls are taking in the nice day!

We are getting calls and people are stopping by, so the bulls are getting sold. Make sure if you have a favorite you've been eyeing to make sure you speak for them before they're gone!

We've been enjoying the warm weather but it has made things a little muddy and soft around the ranch. This group of cows will be selling at the stock cow and bred heifer sale, valentines day at Kist Livestock in Mandan. Later bred than we want, July and August calving.

The last two days were a bit overcast but still made for some warmer weather to get pictures taken.
