Using fresh ingredients when you cook is essential for how your dish tastes. We can say the same for distillation by sourcing some of the best grains grown sustainably here in the Mid-Atlantic.

The term "mashbill" refers to the mix of grains used to produce wort, the liquid extracted through the mashing process that ferments into alcohol before being distilled.

To create District Made Bourbon's signature style, we distill two different mashbills, one wheated and one high-rye, age them individually and then marry a few barrels together. The result is a four-grain bourbon that is drier with a rich texture.

59% Hickory King Corn, 16% Abruzzi Rye, 8% Hard Red Winter Wheat, 11% Malted Rye, 6% Malted Barley
