Legacy Batch 003: The Declaration was built for more than the shelf.

Created with America’s 250th anniversary on the horizon, this bottle was made with intention in every direction.

A Colonial-era Maryland style rye, rebuilt the JYPSI way with Indiana rye finished in George Washington’s Mount Vernon apple brandy barrels, Canadian corn re-barreled in new American oak, and Virginia single malt for warmth and lift.

It carries a piece of early American whiskey history, but it was made for moments like this, poured neat, passed across the bar, and shared with someone who cares what’s behind the glass.

National Bourbon Day is a good reminder that the classics can still surprise us.

Finish Seekers 01 begins as a 6-year bourbon with corn sweetness, rye spice, and the structure to carry a rare finish. From there, it spent six months in Mizunara oak, a Japanese wood known for sandalwood, incense, subtle coconut, and a quiet depth that unfolds slowly.

What we love about this whiskey is that the finish adds dimension without covering up the bourbon underneath. It keeps the warmth and structure of the original whiskey, while giving the glass something new to discover.

Ari joined Newsmax to talk Legacy Batch 003: The Declaration, our annual limited release created for America’s 250th.

Rather than recreate history, we carried it forward, starting with George Washington’s rye tradition, then rebuilding it with aged whiskeys, modern imagination, and Indiana rye finished in Mount Vernon apple brandy barrels.
