Beauty & Botanicals 🌿
The space between a serpentine dining table became a runway for a four-course experience where food and fashion unfolded side by side.
An incredible collaboration brought every detail to life, from the menu and fashion to the florals, production, and design.

Inspired by the former life of THE SPACE DC as an Urban Outfitters, we created an immersive culinary-meets-fashion experience that brought The Space’s retail roots back to life in a completely new way.
Each course was inspired by a botanical and herb pairing, weaving an ethereal, organic garden aesthetic through the runway looks, event design, and menu.
The event design and fashion looks were created by the brilliant Annie Senatore of Design Foundry, whose career began in Paris fashion, bringing each chapter’s botanical inspiration to life throughout the space and on the runway.
A playful take on a passed hors d’oeuvres: Strawberry Sablé with whipped goat cheese from the local Firefly Farm, presented to guests in an open birdcage
Whimsical peas and carrots, golden enoki frond, and ahi tuna & lotus root were some of the other delicious bites that welcomed guests into the garden experience.

As the models debuted each look and chapter on the runway, synchronized plated service brought the corresponding dish to the table, allowing the fashion and food to unfold together in real time.
A debut of one of our newest event stations: the Garden Roll Atelier, where fresh garden rolls were made to order for each guest, bringing the botanical theme to life through an interactive culinary
