🌾 Farm & Barn Help Wanted – Washington, DC

We’re looking for dependable people who enjoy working outdoors and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Our farm is just off Common Good City Farm (300 V St NW, Washington, DC), and reliability matters—so we pay $70 per hour.

What you’ll do:
• Feed and care for goats, chickens and other animals
• Clean stalls and barns to keep our animals healthy
• Maintain fence lines and gates
• Tackle basic repairs and general property upkeep

What we need from you:
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to lift 40‑50 lbs and work in all weather
• Show up when you say you will—every time
• Experience with fencing, construction or mechanical repair is a plus

$80 per hour

I’m putting this out there because good help is hard to find.

We’re looking for dependable people to assist with outdoor work near Common Good City Farm (300 V St NW, Washington, DC 20001).

Read to the end.

This is real work. Feeding animals. Cleaning stalls. Fixing fence lines. Light repairs. Property upkeep.

Some days are calm. Some days are long.

If you enjoy being outdoors and don’t mind getting dirty, you’ll fit in here.

We pay $80 per hour because reliability matters. If you show up, work hard, and take pride in what you do — you’ll be respected and paid fairly.

You don’t need to be a professional farmer. But you do need:

• Strong work ethic
• Good attitude
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs
• To show up when you say you will

Experience with fencing, construction, mechanical repair, or farm work is a major plus.
