There’s a certain smell that means fall has arrived in the Balkans. 🌶️

This time of year marks peak red pepper harvest, when families and friends come together to roast peppers, slowly cook ajvar, and fill jars to preserve the flavors of the season for the months ahead.

It’s a tradition built around good food, time together, and recipes passed down through generations.

Come get a taste of the tradition at Ambar.
