Thank you to everyone who stopped by to pick flowers for opening weekend! It’s always sweet to see new and familiar faces, and I love seeing everyone leave with cups and buckets filled with flowers to arrange at home.

There are four more weekends in August to pick your own flowers Everlane Flower Co - NC Flower Farm 🌼 with the flower field open Friday , Saturday, and Sunday from 9-1.

The flower field opens this weekend for pick your own flowers🌼

For August, the flower field is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9-1, for you to scratch ‘picking flowers’ off your summer bucket list.

No need to bring anything, cups, buckets, and pruners are all readily available for picking flowers. Bring your saved cup or bucket for $5 off of each visit!

A little bit about the creatives behind Mailbox Garden Club: Pollinator Edition🐌📫💌🦋

What was supposed to be a quick meeting about workshops with turned into a second edition of MBGC, with a focus on all things pollinators! We knew right away that we wanted to be a part of the magic , too , with her exquisitely detailed paintings. She was thrilled about the idea, and we all set to work to bring this edition to life!

The MBGC: Pollinator Edition is an opportunity to get excited about the pollinators that we notice around the garden(or maybe overlook), understand the vital role they play in our ecosystems, and bring a perennial pollinator garden to life.

It’s a garden club, on your own time and pace, and delivered via stamp and envelope to your mailbox each month from June-August.

We are all so excited to share this edition of Mailbox Garden Club with you. You can have this fun snail mail delivered to you by signing up at everlaneflowerco.com.

Our first container design workshop of the season was such a sweet one🪴 We had a great group of ladies join us for the evening , with a fun selection of plants available for their container designs.

Our next container workshop, Edible Container Design, is this Saturday at 10 am, and will focus on curating a container that is just as functional as it is beautiful. Featuring herbaceous elements, it will be a container to enjoy for its beauty and ingredients to use in the kitchen!

We may not be fully open for the season just yet, but, we still have some fun Mother’s Day offerings to help you celebrate that special lady🌱🌼💌

Under the ‘Mother’s Day’ tab on our website, you will find a collection of gift ideas to make this growing season a beautiful one. From plants to snail mail to flower field experiences, there are so many options that will make her day.

For those local to us, we are offering Gift Containers and Perennial Pairings (designed and curated by ) for preorder pickup on Saturday.

For those who love a gifted experience, our Bud Pass and Workshops offer something to look forward to in the flower field.

And, for those who live near or far, our Mailbox Garden Club: Pollinator Edition is a delightful snail mail experience to look forward to this June-August.

From plants to butterflies, and some topics in between, this is going to be such a fun workshop season in the flower field!

A few returning workshops are the Garden Math, Container Design, and Butterfly Pinning sessions🌱🦋

We are delighted to partner with .art.taxidery.services again this year, as Ginny’s expertise and love for teaching are evident at each of her workshops!

New and exciting this year are the Edible Container Workshop and the Beetle Pinning Workshop. The lineup is all exciting, but these are possibly the two that I am most looking forward to!

A quick little catchup post after so much time offline-

Spring has been spent flower picking with pups, with them nearby snoozing or checking in with me to see why we are not riding the golf cart around instead… but, I’ve been able to share some new perennial blooms with subscribers this season, which has been so fun.

Off the farm, I have fallen in love with a somewhat forgotten way of communication- snail mail. It has been such a joy to fill envelopes to send to those in Mailbox Garden Club and I am so happy to have shared that little idea with all of you.

Although a touch warmer than I prefer this time of year, it has been a beautiful season so far.

Looking forward to flower field days ahead of us🫶
