Today 6-21 we will be closed to celebrate Father’s Day.

Some of my earliest memories are standing up in the bench seat of my dad’s old truck heading to the stockyard. As a kid I imitated my dad’s every move, I hauled a lot of stock around the yard with my imaginary trailer. What was just a normal Wednesday morning heading to Washington for him planted a seed that has grown into a lifestyle I get to share with my boys. Dads are the only real hero’s in this world, time may get cut short but the memories last forever.

Verified VAC Program

We are introducing a verified vaccaination program for our customers cattle.
As markets show, having your cattle correctly vaccinated adds value by not only keeping them healthy on your farm but also preparing for the next step in the life cycle process.

The Verified VAC Program comes at no upfront cost to the customer. We provide the vaccines, labor and facilities (if needed) for a flat rate on a per calf basis that will be taken out of your check when you sell with us at Wilkes County Stockyard.

Calves in the program ear-tagged with a ‘Verified VAC’ tag that will also double as the ear-tag they will be sold with much like our VAC-45 program. Calves will have up-to-date vaccination records that will be announced at the sale. By having records of the correct vaccines and allotted ear-tag buyers can buy with confidence knowing the background of the calf. Also, we will be able to help you market your cattle more effectively and will be able to keep customers more up to date on the current market value, making you more money!

-Verified VAC Ear Tag
-1 Modified Live Repsiratory Vaccine
(Standard 1 Round. 2 rounds available if preparing for the VAC-45 program)

We will be open our regular hours this week, including our Sunday hours 3-6pm today and all day Monday.

We are so very thankful for the rain and more importantly the service men and women who have sacrificed their lives to protect ours.
