Zaiser Pumpkin Farm In March of 2007 a strong storm damaged our early
1900’s barn to the point that it had to be torn down.

This provided us with over an acre of land that we
now had to find a use for. Having just spent over
$50 on pumpkins for Halloween, we talked about
planting our own the next year. We saved the seeds
from the pumpkins we bought that Fall and planted
them the following Spring. We had no idea how
many pumpkins would actually grow on an acre of
ground. We have since expanded to include more
varieties of pumpkins and decorative squash.

Sweet corn is done for the year. Thanks to everyone who supported us and helped us raise money for St. Jude.

The second planting is ready! Stand is fully stocked!

Update: what we put out is gone. Hopefully have the second planting ready August 4 or 5.

We put out three or four dozen this morning at the stand. Other than that, the first planting is done. In probably a week to 10 days the second planting should be ready and we’ll have more.
