Just a little about how I got started
I was four when I started making fudge on the gas stove! I can’t believe my mother allowed me to stir boiling sugar when I was still a baby! By the age of 6 I was bringing homemade loaves of bread to my teacher at Christmas. Made by me.
I always loved baking and all forms of food craft, candy making, cake decorating, etc. I 0took my first formal cake decorating lesson at 17 and from there I began making more elaborate cakes and later cookies for the family, friends and events. I was always encouraged to start my own business.
I began sharing pictures of my cookies on Facebook and so many people expressed interest in learning how to decorate cookies that I could not resist! On March of 2016. I started Catherine’s Cookie Art. I don’t know what I expected, but so far my small business has exceeded any hopes I had for success. I have found that I have a real love for teaching my cookie classes! I think I am having even more fun than my students!
I have made so many friends since then. I wish I had kept track of all the people that have taken my classes
