🧈🥩BUTTER STEAK - Aptly named; This cut comes from the top of the sirloin, and is Lean yet surprisingly tender & flavorful thanks to its perfectly portioned fat cap.
T O C O O K:
🌡️Let steak sit out on counter at room temp for 30 minutes before seasoning - Season as desired then fire up for cooking… we suggest cast iron skillet method.
🔥Bring skillet up to temp with medium high heat.
🌿Lightly drizzle pan with olive oil, or use a small nob of tallow (we sell our own store made beef tallow FYI😎).
🐮Start fat side down - carefully sear and render the fat cap for 2-3 minutes before flipping onto other side.
⏲️Cook each side approximately 2-3 minutes for medium rare.
🔪Remove steak when internal temp is 120-125°F, Let rest for 5-10 minutes and enjoy.
