Happy Friday!

I am sure some of our regulars have already noticed, but we have not been in Hillsboro much this week. We had planned to be open today for lunch, however there is still too much to do in preparation for the next big news…

We will be attending our first big fair next week! The Dog House will be setting up for the Hopkinton State Fair over Labor Day weekend. We are working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we are fair ready.

The weekend following the fair, we will be setting up for another big event down in Dublin - the Dublin NH Gas Engine Meet, before heading out on a much needed two week vacation.

Unfortunately, this means we will likely not be running any more lunch shifts in Hillsboro until late September.
But we will be back, we promise!

For now, the only event left on our agenda before the State Fair is a dinner service with our friends over at Rockingham Brewing West tomorrow from 4-7pm! The Barking Dog Farm Rescue will be there for the end of summer adoption event. So come on out, meet some gorgeous puppies, grab some grub and cold beers!

Up and running down at Henniker Brewing Company today until 7:30pm! Music by Nefarious Motives from 3-5pm.

Come and enjoy the fresh released Flap Jack beer, listen to some sweet tunes and grab one of todays specials:

Continuing the Blues BBQ Smash - double patty, American cheese, jalapeño and French fried onions smothered in Blues Hogg BBQ sauce.

Added to the mix the Black and Bleu Smash - double patties coated in a blackened Cajun spice, bleu cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and thin sliced red onion.

Few new specials going into the weekend!

First up, we have the

Blues BBQ Smash - 2 patties, jalapeños, french fried onions and a heavy drizzle of Blues Hog BBQ Sauce.

Next, in honor of the Flap Jack beer release taking place today with our friends over at Henniker Brewing Company, we created the

Vermonster Smash - 2 patties, burger sauce, vermont cheddar cheese and our house-made maple bacon onion jam.

Finally, being that we are still the “Dog House,” we felt the need to run a dog special. So we have the

Maple Bacon Frank - all-beef frank smothered in cream cheese and topped with that delicious maple bacon onion jam.

Find us here at Aubuchons today until 2pm then we are headed over to Henniker Brewery from 4-7:30pm.

Tomorrow we head back to Henniker Brewery from 12-7:30.

Sunday we will be setting up at the Harvest Market Days over at Runnings in Claremont from 1-4pm.

**No lunch shift today**

Impromptu day with the kiddos today before they get back into the school year schedule next week!

Back to Aubuchon Hardware for a lunch shift tomorrow afternoon, then over to Henniker Brewing Company tomorrow night (8/21) and all day Saturday!

Sunday - is back for Sunday Funday along with who is putting on a class for customizing your own hat or bag from 1PM - 3PM! Tickets on their website!

Introducing the CBR (Chicken Bacon Ranch)!

Fresh grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, bacon and ranch on a grilled roll.

Running a limited offering tonight at Henniker Brewing Company, and plan on keeping it around for at least this coming week. Come give it a go and let us know if it should stick around!

We are at Henniker Brewing until 7:30 tonight and will be setting up for lunch at Aubuchon Hardware (Hillsboro) from 11-2 Monday - Friday this week!

EDIT: We wrapped up early at Grimes to head over to Henniker Brewery a little early. Unfortunately, the lunch shift at Grimes was a net loss financially today.

Open today, down at Grimes Field in Hillsboro until 2:30, then off to Henniker Brewing Company from 4-7:30!

Come watch the Pickleball tournament hosted by Stone Arch Players, NH and enjoy some good eats!

Running Bacon, Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwiches this morning - lunch and dinner specials to follow!

Busy weekend ahead!

Today, you can catch us down at Aubuchon from 11-1pm. Private event right after that has us wrapping up early down here.

Tomorrow, we can be found down at Grimes field from 9am - 2:30pm for the Pickleball tournament then over with our friends at Henniker Brewing Company from 4-7:30!

Jerk Chicken Sandwiches and Tropical Smashburgers on special again today, get them while they last!
