This Friday is our last Friday night of live music at Kascadia, and we’re sending it off with Lukas Johnson from 6–8 PM! 🎸🍻

Starting next week, Friday night music is moving to 5440 Brewing Co. Same great rotation of local musicians, just a cozier setting, cold beer, good food, and a little more intimate vibe.

The move also lets us keep Kascadia focused on sports on Friday nights — especially with Friday night football kicking off! 🏈

So whether you’re looking for live music and a laid-back night at 5440 or want to catch the game at Kascadia, we’ve got your Friday night covered.

FRESH HOP BREW DAY! 🍺

It’s been a few years since Bolt last made a fresh hop. Then Charles got in his ear… and well, here we are again!

Today we picked up fresh Strata hops from Coleman Hop Farms in the Willamette Valley and put them straight into the brew kettle for Stratatoulle IPA.

And yes, we absolutely love Ratatouille, so the name was basically inevitable. 🐀👨‍🍳

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re so excited to finally have food back at 5440 Brewing Co.!

New Kitchen Hours:
Wednesday –Sunday | 12–7 PM

We’re kicking things off with some favorites, including:

Cheesesteak sandwiches
Meatball subs
Brats
Giant Bavarian pretzels
Hummus Plate

And this is just the beginning! As our staff gets comfortable in the new kitchen and we get into our groove, we’ll be slowly expanding the menu. And yes, some of your favorites will be returning.

This room has been the backdrop for so many memories. ❤️🍻

Since the day we opened, we’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, fundraisers, live music, trivia nights, countless pints with friends, a few weddings, and so many conversations that turned strangers into regulars. This taproom has become so much more than a place to grab a beer—it’s a true gathering place for our community.

And this Saturday, we’re opening the doors again.

After months of planning, construction, inspections, and hard work, we’re thrilled to announce the reopening of the kitchen at 5440 this Saturday—and we can’t wait to welcome you back.

Even better, your visit comes with something special: the Camas-Washougal Community Chest Car Show, happening right here from 12–4 PM. It’s the perfect day to come down, check out the cars, support a great local organization, and be part of a celebration that brings our community together.

So make plans to stop by this Saturday—grab a seat, enjoy a meal, raise a glass, and take in the Car Show with us. We’ve missed you, and we’re ready to make new memories together.

August is stacking up with some great events 🔜 Just around the corner the 3rd annual Cruise the Shoug auto show kicks off at noon 🚘 🏍 A round of D&F along with the 54-40 Book Club meet up on the 13th ⚔ 📚 The taproom will be hosting a comedy show on the 15th (Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite or at the door) 🎤 Then on the 27th we will be hosting our Open Mic Night starting around 6pm 🍻

To our 5440 family,

Over the last several months, one thing we’ve heard over and over is, “We can’t wait until the kitchen is back.”

The truth is, we miss it too.

We know that not having food at the taproom has changed the experience for many of our regulars. We’ve heard your disappointment, your encouragement, and your constant question of “How much longer?” We know it’s been hard, and we truly appreciate everyone who has continued to support us through this transition.

The good news? We’re almost there.

The new kitchen is in the final stages, and if everything continues on schedule, we expect to be cooking again in the next few weeks. We can’t wait to bring back the comfort of grabbing a meal with your favorite beer, and make 5440 feel whole again.

If you’ve noticed our weekly specials at Kascadia lately, you’ve actually been getting a little sneak peek of what’s to come. We’ve been testing recipes, gathering feedback, and getting excited to bring those flavors home to 5440.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for sticking with us. Your support has meant everything, and we can’t wait to welcome you back around the table.
