Corn will be in all towns today for our last day of the season.

*There will be corn in HyVee in Cherokee for the weekend or you can come to the farm for some also.

To everyone, we try our best to pick the best ears of sweetcorn, we pick one ear at a time, but we can't check every ear and sometimes it's judgement call.
If anyone feels they did not get what they paid for, PLEASE come back and replace your corn.

Update: Slota Sweetcorn will not be in towns Tuesday July 15th. We picked lots of Sweetcorn today so the field needs one or two days to gain back some quantity that's ready.
If someone "needs" some sweetcorn I have it. I just don't have enough quantity for the towns. You would have to call me and then come and get it.

FYI. In Cherokee Bomgaars, I am using a different trailer this year so that you will be able to reach the sweetcorn from both sides. Hopefully easier for everyone.
Secondly, as a cost saving measure, if anyone would like to bring their own bags to bag their sweetcorn. That would be awesome, the price of bags has doubled in the past couple of years (but Please don't bring me a bag full of bags as they will blow away). We "try" to be to all locations by 10 am.

Price is the same as last year, $8/dozen, $5/, 1/2 dozen.
Reminder: You need to bring the correct amount money with. There will be no change there (here is a thought. If you only have a ten dollar bill, take ten dollars worth by adding two more ears to your bag, etc). No need for change.

2025 season is getting closer. Sweetcorn started showing some tassels last week, June 14th. FYI. That's the same date as in 2024. And, in 2024, our first day of selling was July 14th.

For anyone who is interested. There is sweetcorn in Marcus and Correctionville today (smaller amounts) . This was picked yesterday and is what didn't get sold in the towns. It was a cool over cast day yesterday so believe it should be just fine.
