These eggs were collected three weeks before I rehomed my adult male, so seeing these little ones finally hatch is extra exciting! 🥹

This breed is still my absolute favorite, and I’m continuing to put in the work with these gals. 💕🫶🏼

I’m testing my breeding flocks this week and will be sending the samples out as soon as I’m finished collecting the blood.

Honestly, this gives me such a sense of relief and peace of mind knowing what I’m keeping in my breeding program and what I may need to move on from.

I just love having clean, healthy, quality birds to work with and enjoy. ❤️ There’s nothing better than knowing you’re building your breeding program on a solid foundation.

I have just received an update photo from one of my customers who bought two chicks from me, one of which is a cockerel and the other a hen. Born in the last week of April, this young hen needs more time to fully develop her copper feathers, but overall She stunning!!! 🥰💕

Ps: I'm still waiting for few people for their update grow out/Adult photo.

I’m so happy with how this one grew out for one of my customers last spring! 😍 He turned out absolutely beautiful. He is PURDY!!! ✨ I love seeing my babies grow into such handsome adults! ❤️

These girls have been laying consistently since last November without missing a beat. They produce eggs with beautiful blooms, gorgeous speckling, and they're consistently medium to large in size.

The question is: would I breed from these girls even if they aren't my darkest egg layers?

For me, the answer is yes. I'll definitely be working with these two because they have so many of the traits I'm aiming for in my breeding program. Egg color is important, but consistency, bloom, speckling, egg size, docile and overall productivity matter.
