Ozark Empire Fair was a blast as usual, but I really want to highlight my sweet girls. This is my Dam and Daughter duo:

Ikea came out of the dry off pen to help make numbers for this show due to my other milker getting a leg injury. She doesn’t have her best udder right now, but regardless, her dairy strength truly shines. She is looooong, level, angular, and very feminine. I’m so grateful to have a doe like her in my barn!

Now Miss Snow Queen, she is going to be one the watch as she becomes a yearling. And I absolutely cant wait to see her freshen. She is what my Nigerian dreams are made of. Should her udder come in the way it is bred to, I will plan on repeating the breeding that gave me this sweet Doe. She placed 3rd in her class of Senior kids at the fair. I’m proud of my little homebred doe!

She’s got the TOPLINE. ✅

Ozark’s TAF BF Happy Hooves. “Happy” as we call her. She’s a girl that I’m so proud of. I acquired Happy last summer and I wasn’t really sure what my plans would be with her, so I freshened her and knew she definitely has a special place here. Her elegance and dairy strength really shined as a 2 year old, and the with her maturity, came this beautiful depth of body. Her teat placement isn’t ideal, but the rest of her is just beautiful. I can’t wait to see what year 3 brings for her! Here’s to a summer of fun with my little show partner!

Molasses and I had a lot of fun this weekend at the Boon Companions Triple Crown Doe Show! We had so much fun with our show family and we even completed our only goal of not being last😆🩷 To say I’m proud of my little Juniors is and understatement. I took one Milker and three Juniors.

My hard work has paid off, and to make the top 10 in big Nigerian classes with goats that I myself created is something I’m super proud of. And it lets me know my herd is moving in the right direction! I can’t wait for the next show!
