YouForage will be coming in the next week! Stay tuned!

Wondered the entire forest and this is what I came up with. So many green berries soon to turn red! The very cold winter and chilly spring made it hard for the plants to wake up. Slightly late start this year. I have faith these plants will give us thousands of pounds more for you to come and pick!

POSTPONED!!!! Due to rain, we are moving Yoga and breakfast to next Suday 6/14.

Greetings!

We have been working hard to get the Food Forest ready for strawberry foraging. It looks so good! I hope you get to make it out to see all the birds nesting and the growth of all the plants. YouForage strawberries is tentatively opening on June 21st, possibly a little sooner. It will be entirely self-serve from sunrise to sunset. Keep an eye out for my email with the exact day!

Our greenhouse was planted with crowns last year and they are already giving us pounds of berries. I'll put whatever I pick in the farm stand fridge, including a little lettuce and herbs. It will be minimal for the next week or two.

Jen will still host yoga for us this summer. Her first class is tomorrow, 6/07/2026. It is a FREE class for all levels at 8:30 a.m. We will follow the class with a potluck breakfast. She is also hosting a ticketed class later this month. You can find out more here.

I have more I'd love to share with you but I need to return to the forest to get this place top notch for you!

If it’s not all gone today, let me know if you’d like to be next on the asparagus list. Still seeing more crowning up! I’ve foraged over 30 pounds so far. and I planted the crowns we are harvesting from in 2022ish. We’ve planted thousands more crowns over the years that we can’t touch yet. So, our yield should multiply quite a lot in the coming years! Maybe even you forage asparagus one day. -Gwendolyn

A new supernova has just occured in a "near-by Galaxy", designated SN 2026kid. It was discovered on April 22, 2026, in the Splinter Galaxy (NGC 5907). This Type II supernova is located in the constellation Draco, roughly 46–50 million light-years away. It appears as a bright spot within the edge-on spiral galaxy's dust lane.

Look for the star like object just above my mouse cursor, that is our brand new supernova!
