*Natural Horsemanship lesson program- $30 for a 30 minute lesson or $150 for a 6 week program
Description: Our students learn how to work with horses on the ground and in the saddle safely and naturally. We start all students in our fenced in 84’x48’ arena with a horse that will match their ri
ding needs. Our lessons are 30 minutes long and follow a unique lesson plan that Colleen has put together through her years of teaching youth. Each student will be learning important skills both on the ground and in the saddle and advance up to higher level horsemanship in a direction of their interest.
*Lead Line Lessons- $15 for a 15 minute lesson or $75 for the 6 week program
Description: This is a chance for young beginner riders in Kindergarten thru 2nd grade to have a private 15 minute riding lesson. During this lesson the instructor will start with keeping the horse safely on a lead line before advancing threw the Colleen's lesson levels. Your youth rider will learn how to mount a horse, hold the reins, stop their horse, ask their horse to go, guide their horse and at the end dismount. We will also play games while riding to help with riders position and balance while on a horse. I also think that taking time to brush your horse, care for your horses tack and learn to lead your horse are important parts that will also be taught during this time. Savvy Horse Program- $10 for each 1 hour lesson
Description: Our Savvy Program is for students that love everything about horses! This is a fun program that will give horse lovers the opportunity to spend time at the barn with horses and their friends! Students will learn subjects such as equipment and tack fitting, greeting & haltering a horse with savvy, grooming, cleaning stalls, feeding, about different horsenalities, on-line Natural Horsemanship with the seven games horses play and so much more!!! This is for both beginner and advanced horse-kids. (no refund or reschedule if a day is missed)
* Home School Natural Horsemanhip Program- $80 for 8 weeks
Description: Our Home School Natural Horsemanship Program is for students that love everything about horses beyond riding! This is a fun program that will give horse lovers the opportunity to spend time at the barn with horses and other home schooled children. Colleen was a home schooled students herself growing up. Students will learn many different aspects of the equine world. We will cover subjects such as equipment and tack fitting, greeting & haltering a horse with savvy, grooming, cleaning stalls, feeding, about different horsenalities, on-line Natural Horsemanship with the seven games horses play and so much more!!! If your child would like to have a riding lesson as well you can also sign up for the private 30 minute lesson that can take place after their Horsemanship Program.
