Hunger is closer to home than you might think. 💚

Outrun Hunger proudly supports Hospitality House Food Pantry in Commerce and Open Door Outreach Center in Waterford, two charity partners helping our neighbors access food and support with dignity.

In 2025, distributed 397,673 pounds of food to neighbors in need, including food supplied to other pantries and a community meal program.

Hospitality House Food Pantry provides six meals and four snacks each Friday to students facing weekend hunger in Walled Lake and Novi schools.

That’s why we run. That’s why we give.

Help us reach our 2026 goal: $37,000 to help feed 822 local families.

👟 Run or walk the 5K or 1 Mile on Saturday, November 14.

"It was an honor for Open Door Outreach Center to be invited to participate in the Detroit Athletic Club’s 6th Annual Nonprofit Organization Showcase on October 20.

The evening brought together nonprofit leaders and DAC members to highlight the important work being done throughout Metro Detroit.

My sincere thanks to the Detroit Athletic Club, the DAC Foundation, and the Community Outreach Committee for the invitation and the opportunity to share Open Door’s mission alongside so many outstanding organizations."
