For everyone asking for an update on Jalapeño’s hip check appointment… unfortunately the news was not good and way worse than I imagined 😭 turns out she has an old and very bad femur fracture that tried to heal and her leg will need to be amputated at some point. What I feel which I thought was her hip dislocated is actually the part of her femur that broke and is sticking up which bone has now fused to it in attempts to heal. I will need to take her to an ortho specialist to see if the amputation should happen asap or if it needs to wait until she is full grown. The good news is that cats with 3 legs do very well. Clearly the universe knew that this kitten needed me and that is how she ended up here at the Wacky Wagner Farm. She also is not in much pain per the vet and gets around well on it in the mean time. I do have gabapentin for her as needed if she has bad days and is limping or showing discomfort. She is still super playful, runs around and plays with her siblings, and loves to be loved on. She will need lots of prayers and once I see the ortho I will keep everyone posted 🥰

Spicy Trio Update: today was the first day that Mr Habanero did not run and hide when I walked into the room. He even stayed on the bed and allowed me to pet him which caused him to start kneading and suckling on the blankey 🥹 The girls Chili and Jalapeno are doing great. They are super loving and playful. We just adore these spicy babies.
