No words can explain the heartbreak we are experiencing on the farm right now. Our sweet boy gained his wings yesterday. Everything under the sun feels so wrong without him here.

With the heaviest of hearts, we share the very unexpected passing of our sweet Duncan.

In his six months with us, Duncan truly flourished in retirement. He gained weight, his wounds healed, and he learned what love, treats, and a soft landing really meant. Our sweet boy adored his chiropractic adjustment and massages—and he even grew a little forelock.

He always waited faithfully at the gate for his meals, and every night he enjoyed carrots before settling in at night check.

Thank you Grand Prix Equine and CT Horse Cremation for being amazing this morning and providing the best urgent care for Duncan.

We will take care of your bestie, Hank.
Rest easy, old friend. 🤍

We’ve been quiet on social media lately. Unfortunately, we’ve been battling some serious health issues with our Gunner. We don’t know how much time we have left with our beloved unicorn, but we’re doing everything we can to make him as comfortable and happy as possible. We’re taking it one day at a time, sometimes even hour by hour.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to our incredible barn crew. I don’t know how to thank you all for your unwavering dedication to Gunner. The past few weeks have been incredibly challenging. We are so fortunate to have the best Veterinarians from Grand Prix Equine and the amazing medical team at Tufts Large Animal Hospital guiding us every step of the way. They’ve gone above and beyond, made themselves available to Gunner at all hours, and supported us all nonstop throughout this journey.

We’d love it if you could keep Gunner in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days. That would mean the world to all of us.
