There’s Dawn, there’s Dusk, and then there’s…

Just as Dawn ushers in the day and Dusk calls it to a close, Nightfall compels the evening. The night both winnows down and opens up what’s possible for our individual and collective experience. It’s a time for raucous revelry or refined reflection; for daft dreams or determined deliberation; and of course convivial conversation or considered contemplation.

Joining our lineup, Nightfall Double IPA lays a soft and supple malt canvas upon which we’ve layered expressive and vibrant hops, sorta like bright stars in the night sky. The burst of tropical fruit arrives thanks to a hefty hop charge in the whirlpool and a triple dry hop. The result is a full flavored and balanced DIPA, even with its doubly-large stature.

Available in can to-go on the farm and, as always, can be shipped to your home anywhere in VA and DC.

It’s dark early in the Old Town this time of year. The cold, damp air cuts deep. Maybe it was here Gregor Samsa knew these same evenings. Walking across the Charles, the candlelight of a public house glows through old windows onto the cobblestones. Inside, a glass of malty respite on a chilly evening calls. As the door opens and heavy curtain is pulled back, a wave of warmth flushes out the cold. Greeted with head nods and a dark, roasty beer. It’s that feeling. A bridge to the City of a Hundred Spires.

The carefully roasted all Virginia grist creates impressions of bittersweet cacao nibs, bread crust, and toasted hazelnut. These layers combine with floral Czechia hops, balancing complexity with drinkability. Stainless steel fermented, tank lagered, and conditioned two plus months.

We recommend a “slow-gressive” pour. Just above the rim and right down the middle of the glass, slowly pour the beer, pausing and pouring over a minute or so. It’ll create a lush foam cap and smooth body for a lovely experience.
