BBQ Pulled Pork Loaded Tots. When the ingredients are good it makes the food that much better.

The clean label stars of this recipe are:
StarWalker Regenerative Organic Certified® Pork Picnic Roast
Folkland Organic Potato Tots
Bearfoot BBQ Pomegranate Fresno

Pork Seasoning/Cooking Ingredients:
4 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Pepper
1 tbsp Cumin
Olive Oil
2 medium red onions
4-5 garlic cloves
1-1.5 cups Stock of your choosing

Topping Ingredients:
Coleslaw - premade OR homemade (featured homemade with purple cabbage and a basic sauce using mayo, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper)
Melted Cheddar Cheese
Jalapenos (1-2 to your spice liking)
Green Onions (to your liking)

Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 300°.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, paprika, black pepper, and cumin
- Apply the spice blend to your StarWalker Regenerative Organic Certified® Pork Picnic Roast (It won’t all stick, that’s okay!)
- Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat
- Sear the pork for about two minutes on all sides - not too long, we don't want to burn the spices
- Add onions, garlic, and stock to the Dutch oven
- Cover and cook for 3 hours at 300 deg F
- While this cooks, you can prep your toppings: shred cheese if needed for melting later, cut jalapenos, cut green onions, make coleslaw of your choosing
- Uncover and cook for another hour or until the pork reaches temp and shred easily (this will vary based on oven, so check it periodically!)
- When done remove from oven
- Bake 1-2 bags of Folkland Organic Potato Tots per bag instructions via oven or air fryer
- While tots cook, finish prepping the pork
- Remove the pork bone, and shred
- Mix in Bearfoot BBQ Pomegranate Fresno to your liking
- Keep pork warm as able while tots cook (oven or stove to maintain heat only)
- Remove cooked tots and transfer to a serving dish
- Add your toppings, as much as you prefer, and preferably in this beautiful order: BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw, melted cheese, jalapenos, green onions, and finally some more Bearfoot BBQ

NOW ENJOY! (you will likely have extra pulled pork, great for additional sliders, sandwiches, etc. etc.)

A little look back on what it really takes to get potatoes in the ground and growing them organic. We wish it were as simple as dirt, tractor, potatoes, wait!

Why organic matters! We’ve all seen it... the EWG 2026 Dirty Dozen. A list of fruits and vegetables that contain, in order, the greatest amount of pesticide residue when tested, even AFTER being washed. Notorious for a spot on the list, this year, the potato came in at #11. 😬 Oof.

According to the USDA, the potato is the #1 most consumed vegetable in the United States. We LOVE that, but we don’t love synthetic pesticides in them. So what can potato lovers do? Well, don’t stop eating potatoes, but do what you can to minimize exposure by looking for potatoes/potato products that are ORGANIC.
