The primary swarm was eager to take the new home we offered them. We're still in negotiations with the secondary and they're a good bit higher.

Been so busy with our bees and swarm calls all over Erie county that we've been struggling to find time to post. Here are some pics from a structural removal we did yesterday. Removals are never fun but with a good team it's not too bad. Grandson Jackson (who might now be cured of his fear of heights) is working on the scaffold with me and Sheryl is the ground crew. In spite of warning the family that the bees might get agitated they stood about 10 feet back and watched the entire removal. Turns out I was the only one stung, got it twice on the hand. Bees were very docile through the whole ordeal.
