Chick update: 15 eggs hatched and are staying nice and warm in the brooder. Well why are there 16 chicks in the picture!? It seems like one of the meat birds we bought was not a meat chick after all, but most likely a leghorn.

The piglets are enjoying their fresh tilling spaces! We will continue to move them around so they can forage for grubs, ...

The piglets are enjoying their fresh tilling spaces! We will continue to move them around so they can forage for grubs, bugs, and other things they can find. Moving them around helps them to improve our soil and keeps them healthy (both physically and mentally).

And as another day comes to an end, we do our rounds and tuck them all in. “Till tomorrow,” we sweetly say and pull back...

“Till tomorrow,” we sweetly say and pull back the covers on another day.
We take one last look and soak it in.
These are the dreams we dreamed back then. And as we slowly close our eyes we gently say another “Good night.”
“Good night dear farm, good night.”
