🐂Feeder Cattle🐂

These are some of our home‑raised feeder cattle that we grow from birth all the way to their locker date — usually around 18–20 months old. They’re a mix of steers and heifers, and by the time they’re finished, their hanging weight can reach up to about 900 lbs.

🌾 Their Purpose
We raise these cattle specifically for customers who purchase quarters, halves, or whole beef. Keeping everything on‑farm from start to finish helps us ensure consistency, quality, and healthy growth.

🥣 What They Eat
They have all‑they‑can‑eat hay every day, plus a grain ration of corn and Steak‑Maker protein twice a day, which we purchase from our local co‑op. They also have clean water and shelter so they stay comfortable year‑round.

Raising cattle from start to finish takes time, care, and a steady routine — but it’s worth it to provide families with beef they can trust. 🥩✨
