The weekend is in view! You made it👍 If you are looking for a beverage to kick things off, we have you covered! In the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area, our mead just went on tap last night at our good neighbors, Lava Lounge / Beer Hall. Our cider is on the growler wall at Happy's Wine & Spirits in Cedar Falls, home to a fabulous selection of Iowa bevvies (and beyond). A little jaunt from the metro, AllyCatz GrubHouse in Denver has our cider on tap! They have great food…make the trip! Like us, these businesses are locally owned and operated…thank you for supporting all of us and spending your hard-earned dollars where it counts.🌟 Cheers!

Our inaugural mead release happens ✨tonight✨ at the Lava Lounge / Beer Hall! Pouring starts around 5pm and so do the good vibes. We would love to say our superstars 🐝🐝🐝 could fly in for a meet and greet, but they are too busy for people things. If you are not too busy for people things, stop by! We hear there is a very tasty special happening at Rudy's Tacos tonight as well, so you can grab some great food while you are in the neighborhood. Cheers!!

Hey there! We have been pretty quiet of late. Life has been busy, truth be told. But, we have also been working on something that we are totally geeked out about. MEAD!! If you know, you know, but if you don’t…it is classified as honey wine.
Fun fact – we are beekeepers. The raw honey that goes into our mead is exclusively from the bees who forage in our apple orchard and wildflower plantings. It is not only beautiful, it is delicious.
Please join us at Lava Lounge / Beer Hall for the very first release of our mead on Thursday, March 21st! Let’s raise a glass to spring…and our magnificent bees!🐝

It is well past 5 o’clock. This means you are safely into the weekend hours...congratulations! If you are celebrating by heading out for a little something, we have some great news. Batch 07 Cider is on tap at our good neighbors, the Lava Lounge / Beer Hall! Batch 07 is the first pressing from our 2019 harvest. Why 2019? We age our cider before we release it, which allows for the flavor to round out and shows off a little more complexity than it would at a younger age. The result is a smooth, aromatic and very dry cider. It is delicious and food-friendly. If you want to enjoy Treppenhaus cider at home, stop by Happy's Wine & Spirits and get a can or growler to go. Batch 06 is on their growler wall! Isn’t it nice to have choices? Cheers and be well!🍻

Let’s raise a glass to the weekend! Join us in supporting all of the incredible small businesses that are doing their thing around here. We could not do our thing without them! Our good neighbors, Lava Lounge / Beer Hall, had faith and a tap for us from day one. Happy's Wine & Spirits have given us a shot at a space on their growler wall and now Treppenhaus can go home with all of you good people. We are fueled by Fat Cup Coffee Company, Milkbox Bakery, Rudy's Tacos, The Sweet Spot, Blue Barn BBQ and many others. Our friends in brewing right here in the Cedar Valley and across Iowa inspire us. We thank these locally-owned small businesses with all of our hearts. Please give them some love on Small Business Saturday and Small Brewery Sunday this weekend, and keep it going the other 363 days of the year as you decide where to spend your dollars. Local businesses keep our local economy strong, employ great people, and depend on all of us for their livelihoods. Thank you for shopping, drinking and eating locally.
