The true sign that spring is just around the corner; the boxes of seeds are starting to arrive!!
First up, Baker Creek. This year Baker Creek is mainly providing flowers as the farm transitions from experimental veggies to production veggies. We’ve heard loud and clear that weird and odd veggies just aren’t our communities jam. So this year we’re focusing on growing high volumes of just a few core staple veggies.
Flowers though, that’s a different story. We want all the fun, vibrant, rare, and interesting flowers to be able to make the most beautiful bouquets for our loved ones, friends, and community. While we aren’t going to be retailing flowers, we hope to be able to support our friends that make arrangements and will likely open a few days a month for “you pick” flowers and coffee on the farm.
We’re looking forward to the spring and starting to see all of our regular customers faces again soon. We’ve missed the conversations and family updates from all you and hope to see you soon!
