My kitchen island is filling up fast with all of the fall goodies that are coming out of the fields. LOTS of preview pics of our Fall Market at the Farm coming soon.
These little bags in the basket contain a small container of our white hulless popcorn. Limited quantities will be available, when they're gone, they are gone. (We had extra containers from a very special Christmas project that we will tell you about soon.)

You may be wondering, what in the dickens does she have on her counter now?
We grew something new-to-us this year, DICKINSON pumpkins. This is the type of pumpkin grown by the largest canned pie pumpkin brand. They grow in all sorts of oblong shapes and are deep tan on the outside. I will be cutting this one and making some pumpkin treats (as soon as I get my oven 😁.) This one is pretty large, I should get quite a bit of pumpkin to play with - pumpkin pie, pumpkin bars, white chocolate pumpkin swirl cheesecake....ooo and toasted seeds.

What do you do when you need to feed hungry farmers, your oven is broken, and your new box of cereal is defective (but you've already melted the marshmallows & butter)? You pop some Tietz Family Farms' popcorn, add some creamy peanut butter to the melted marshmallows, add enough popped popcorn that it is coated, form into balls with clean buttered hands and sprinkle lightly with salt. WALLAH- Peanut Butter Popcorn Balls.

BULK SWEET CORN SALE! Get ready for canning or freezing! Order for this weekend now!

We have a lot of sweet corn ready for this weekend so we are doing a $5 a dozen bulk sale, (minimum 3 dozen purchased)!

Every year, we like to go support our youth at the Dodge County Fair at the Meat Animal Sale. This year we bought this beautiful pig from a young showman.

This showman and pig stood out to Christian as it reminded him of himself with the first pig he showed 14 years ago. See the pictures of Christian showing “Brownie” back in 2012! The last picture shows his sale picture with his other pig (Elmer).

So many memories were made at this sale through the years for our family. Randy, Russell, Christian, Jacob and Angela all showed and sold at the sale. We love supporting the next generation of showman and giving them lasting memories!

It is past 9:30 pm (hence the dark pictures)...Milo just went outside and brought in a Delicata squash that he and Bella planted in the mulch out back. They grew 6 squash. I guess any time of the day is a good time to eat some of our delicious squash.🤣
Update 10:15 pm - Bella stole the squash.

Orange pumpkins are not too far away!!
