What a difference 24 hours make. This is 1230 Friday 1/23/26 and 1230 Saturdays 1/24/26. As of this morning, there are 150,000 Nashville (NES) area customers alone without power. So far, so good for us. We have Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) for our area. Our area (Wilson County) always seems to be on the North/South or East/West line when it comes to weather. I currently have hamburger soup in the crockpot, and I'll update later with 48-hour pictures. Those affected by this front, stay warm, and stay safe.

An outing to Cookeville to check out a discount store called Ollie's then to Golden Corral to meet up with our friends Lamar and Debbie. From there, we stopped at their home for some conversation and introduction to their daughter and her family. Then we went to their property to meet their sheep Hattie May and Clover. The final stop was DelMonaco Winery and then home for Charcuterie and wine. A great day with good friends!
