Sunkissed is not perfect, but she is on the right track and has some important qualities needed for the next gen of Paxton's polish babies! Her mama quickly out produced herself with Sunkissed, but we are still excited to pair her mama with our other herd bucks for some 2027 litters! 🍼

Sunkissed is currently being shown by Paxton and has been consistently hanging in the top 3 of her classes 🥰

🦁 Another Lionhead ~before and after!~ ✂️

Paxton had out both Bellner Homestead Zeus and his sire, Pride Rock's Caramel Ribbon Crunch, looking over them carefully to decide who to breed Gingerbread to for Nationals. Zeus is Gingerbread's half sister - they share the same father (Caramel) plus a grandfather on their dam's side. Caramel is Gingerbread's sire. Either pairing would be a tight line breed, but he's looking for a couple of predictable litters for Nationals, since he will also be using a brand new, unrelated buck for 2 of his 5 National litters! He's playing it safe with a little risk mixed in!

At this point in time - Zeus has not been chosen to sire any Nationals litters. 🥲 However, Paxton is very hopeful that he will get to bring home a new Lionhead doe mid-November and maybe..just maybe Zeus will have a shot before it's entirely too late to breed for 2027 Nationals! 🤞🏼

Meet Potato! 🥔

"Tater" hasn't shown up on Facebook yet, but he's a super cute 13 week old Polish buck who is the product of BOTH our main herd bucks, one on each side of his family tree! Paxton got Buttons in January of this year when he started his Netherland Dwarf herd. She has had 2 litters for us and he is going to keep her most recent buck kit, Chimichanga, so she can move along if someone wants her. Full disclosure - she is a sass factory! She was sooo mad at us today for getting her out and taking her pictures and refused to pose (so I added a Jr. Photo where she's way overposed - oops!) Buttons wants bred so bad that she's just plain unhappy. She is much happier pregant and/or on a litter. Still sassy, but better. We do not have a pedigree for her or really know anything about her histoy. Her breeder has failed to provide Paxton with his pedigrees from January and we really don't know how to get them at this point. So, he's moving on and will take a loss selling her cheap to anyone who's not afraid of a kinda butt head doe, HAHA! We can expose her to our buck before she leaves if someone prefers, as she may be happier preggy LOL! 🫠
