Last day for the Taste of Peru weekend! Come and try something different and new

Did you know Peru is famous for its diverse Peruvian cuisine, which blends Indigenous Inca roots with Spanish, African, Chinese, and Japanese influences?

Here’s some fun facts about some of the food items on our Peru menu

Pollo Saltado;

Born from "Chifa" Culture: Pollo saltado is a product of Chifa, Peru's deeply loved Chinese-Peruvian fusion cuisine. Cantonese immigrants who arrived in Peru in the 19th century introduced wok cooking techniques and sillao (soy sauce). They combined these with local Andean staples like red onions, tomatoes, and the indispensable ají amarillo chili pepper.

Alfajores is our Peruvian dessert that is shortbread filled with Manjar blanco.

Manjar Blanco, is not Dulce de Leche or caramel. While Argentina uses heavy dulce de leche, Peru traditionally fills its delicate, crumbly cornstarch-and-flour shortbread cookies with manjar blanco (a smooth, milk-based caramel spread) and dusts them with powdered sugar with a touch of coconut
