🍂 October on Seneca Lake is something special — harvest is underway, the fall colors are showing off, and there’s a whole lot of great w**e waiting for you.

It’s also one of the most popular times of year to visit! If you’re planning a trip to the Seneca Lake W**e Trail this month, a little planning can go a long way. A few quick tips:

🍷 Plan your stops ahead of time. Check w**ery hours before you head out, as they vary from place to place.

📅 Make reservations when available. Some w**eries require or strongly recommend reservations, especially on weekends.

👥 Traveling with a group? Call ahead. Each w**ery has its own policies for larger groups, so don’t assume everyone can accommodate you without advance notice.

🚗 Have a transportation plan. Designate a driver or arrange transportation ahead of time. October weekends can be especially busy for local transportation companies, too.

⏰ Give yourself plenty of time. Don’t try to squeeze too many w**eries into one day. Slow down, enjoy your tasting, take in the views, and leave a little wiggle room between stops.

💛 And pack a little patience. Our w**ery teams are working hard during one of the busiest - and most exciting - times of the year. A little kindness goes a long way!

October is a beautiful time to experience Seneca Lake. Plan ahead, sip responsibly, and enjoy every minute of fall in Finger Lakes W**e Country. 🍁🍷

Another Grape Stomp season in the books! 🍇 We sold out every Saturday in September, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group of stompers. Thank you to everyone who came out, got their feet purple, and joined in on the fun. See you next September!
